Probuild Pty Ltd is a quality assured professional building company established in 1986. Operating primarily as Commercial and Industrial Contractors and Construction Managers, Probuild ensures high quality, cost-effective outcomes for its clients through attention to compliance and contractual obligations. Since inception, the company has fostered the development of long-standing associations with reputable clients. A solid management structure and sound financial situation have ensured a strong profile within the industry and Probuild has maintained a stable trading position.
The company has a dedicated workforce of direct employees comprising Management and Office Staff to Site Staff including Foremen, Tradesmen, Apprentices and Workshop personnel. With experienced, qualified employees and personal attention from the Directors, Probuild can deliver significant results throughout a project, from commencement to completion.
In recent years Probuild has undertaken and successfully completed major Construction and Refurbishment Programmes at the University of New South Wales on a Managing Contractor basis, combining Construction Management with traditional contracting. These programmes have incorporated alterations to teaching facilities, lecture theatres, laboratories and retail areas as well as substantial building extensions, civil works, services and landscaping improvements.
Probuild has been instrumental in the establishment of major services infrastructure works for the University of Western Sydney at the new Parramatta Campus - Rydalmere, and has also completed works at several Sydney shopping centres including Chatswood Chase, Warringah Mall and Macquarie, for AMP Capital Investors Limited.
More recently the company has completed multi-level refurbishment works, main foyer renovations and services infrastructure upgrades at Sydney Cove for AMP Life Limited and is currently constructing a significant multi-level Commercial Facility at Kogarah for the Presbyterian Church Trustees (NSW) Australia Pty. Ltd.
Probuild has diverse experience in traditional contracts, construction management contracts and negotiated forms of contract, where market value is assured through approval and monitoring by quantity surveying or cost consultant firms engaged by its clients. In construction management forms of contract, the company works with the team of consultants commissioned for the project and provides both Buildability Analysis, to ensure practical, optimal solutions, and Cost Analysis, to represent budgeting and ongoing financial control.
The company is third party accredited, by Global Mark, in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (AS/NZS 4801:2001) and Quality Management Requirements (AS/NZS ISO9001 - 2000). This OH & S Management System meets the requirements of the NSW Government OHS Management System Guidelines and has been accredited by The NSW Department of Commerce. The company is accredited in the Contractor Prequalification Scheme and Best Practice Accreditation Scheme for Construction and Related Works 2008 – 2010 (for Contracts valued greater than $500,000) by the NSW Department of Commerce.
